A payday alternative loan is a federal credit union product under 12 CFR 701.21. It is not a storefront payday loan. This page does not set out the rate cap or the dollar cap. Those are in the regulation, and they can change. The figures are year to date through June 30, 2026, not a full year. The same file also has 555 loans in the Virgin Islands and 115 in Puerto Rico. Those are not in the state table. Guam reported none.
