Our verdict: The Indigo Mastercard is the Milestone’s twin: same servicer (Concora Credit), same $175 first-year cost, same ~$199-a-year after, same $700 limit, same 35.9% APR. Everything in our Milestone verdict applies here unchanged: it is a disclosed but expensive way to build credit without a deposit. Most people who can fund a $200–$300 deposit are better served by a secured card.

One fact most review sites have wrong
As of our August 2026 verification, Indigo’s own site (footer and FAQ both) states the card is issued by Celtic Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah. Plenty of reviews still name The Bank of Missouri (which does issue the Milestone). If you are checking who stands behind the card before applying, rely on the issuer’s current disclosure rather than an outdated roundup. This is one reason we re-verify terms on a schedule.
Indigo vs. Milestone: is there any difference?
On the public online offers we verified: pricing is identical to the dollar — $175 first year, $49 + $150 after, 35.9% APR, $700 limit, 1% foreign transaction fee, hard inquiry only if approved. The differences are the issuing bank (Celtic Bank vs. The Bank of Missouri) and whatever mailed offer either program sends you, which can carry different pricing than the public application. If you hold a mailed offer from one of them, compare its Schumer box against the public numbers above — take whichever is cheaper, or neither. The decision, compressed
- Can you fund any deposit? Then a secured card wins on cost by hundreds of dollars over three years: Capital One Platinum Secured review ($0 fee, from $49 deposit) or OpenSky Plus review ($0 fee, no credit check).
- Truly no deposit possible? Then Indigo/Milestone are functional: they approve deep-subprime files, report to all three bureaus, and won’t log a hard inquiry on a decline. Pay in full monthly, since interest at 35.9% accumulates quickly, and treat the card as a 12-month bridge rather than a long-term account. The approach is the same as for secured cards: use a secured card to build credit.

Indigo’s CFPB complaint record
Indigo’s complaints file with the CFPB under CLGF Holdco 1, LLC — the same Concora Credit entity as Milestone, so the record covers both cards together: 2,468 complaints in the 12 months ending August 26, 2026, led by “Incorrect information on your report” (615), followed by “Improper use of your report” (245) and “Fees or interest” (223). At our first pull (August 2026) the top complaint theme was credit reporting accuracy, which is directly relevant here: accurate reporting is the reason to hold this card. Check your reports monthly while you hold it, and use our free dispute letter templates if something is wrong.
Methodology: raw counts from the CFPB Consumer Complaint Database; figures refresh automatically each week. Counts aren’t rates (no customer-base denominator), and the entity’s data can’t be split between Indigo and Milestone.
